On All Saints Day on which we honor the memory of those in our congregation who have passed away in the last year. Our All Saints Day message will focus on the difference that often emerges between what the world calls a life well-lived and what God tells us matters most in our lives in the context of eternity. Our hymns this Sunday include For All the Saints and God of Past, Who By Your Spirit, and we will be led in worship by guest clarinetist Donald Hite, the South Main Bronze playing When the Saints Go Marching In, and the Sanctuary Choir singing the meditative Sing Me to Heaven. Let us join together in remembering the saints who walked and served among us at South Main, and let us learn from their example in the worship of God.
