On Christmas Eve, we gather at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM for our traditional Candlelight Service to tell the beautiful and most consequential story of Christ’s birth and to celebrate the impending arrival of Christmas. The compelling Old and New Testament texts we will read give us the remarkable specifics of this most remarkable story. This story of question upon question culminates in an answer: the Christ child in the manger. So let us bring our questions to Bethlehem and wonder at the Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love offered to us each and every day. Both of our services will be identical, but due to the turnaround between services, our 4:00 PM service will culminate in the singing of Silent Night in our Sanctuary, while the 6:00 PM service will conclude with singing the carol outside.
