Traveling far and wide
Searching for a safe haven
Being turned away from shelter
Finally being accepted, thinking their work is done
Starry sky, bright light, a mission
Three men searching for their Savior
Following the illuminated sign
Knowing the final destination will be in their favor
The beauty of life unfolding
A mother and a father connected by flesh
Surrounded by grateful persons
Breathing in the relief-filled air around; fresh
The three men making the scene
Bearing gifts of frankincense, myrrh, and gold
Feasting their eyes upon their destiny
Marking forever in that inconvenient household
