Sermon – "The Songs of Christmas"

Our Advent journey continued on the second Sunday in December focused on the idea of Peace with our many bell ensembles providing the music in worship. Our message explored four different songs sung by characters in the first few pages of the Gospel of Luke with a few specific themes common to each— themes of joy and gratitude, just the sort of feelings, emotions, and values that moves us toward a sense of peace in our souls. This week, as we move closer to Christmas, consider leaning into joy and gratitude and see how a wondrous sense of peace emerges in your mind and in your heart.
