Worship – How Can This Be?

Our Advent journey takes us even closer to Christmas this Sunday as we focus thematically on the idea of God’s divine love. We look at the familiar passage from Luke 2 in which the heavenly host fills the night sky to announce the birth of Christ. The angelic message of “good news of great joy for all people” expresses the everlasting nature of God’s love, a new season of peace on earth and good will toward all. Our music turns our eyes toward the starry sky, as the Chamber Choir leads us in worship by singing Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars, Sure on this Shining Night, and This Lovely Lady Sat and Song. Together, we all sang The First Nowell, I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light, and O Little Town of Bethlehem.
