We continue with our sermon series on the Psalms with the confession of faith found in Psalm 16. This Psalm opens with a declaration of trust in the Lord, followed by a profound exposition of that trust. The point is that our faith is not just some idle feeling but rather an active exercise of trust in God carried out among His saints. Join us this Sunday as Psalm 16 beckons us to pursue the blessing of a more faithful heart. Our worship began with a celebration of the baptism of Jude Goodman and continue with the hymns Holy, Holy, Holy and He Leadeth Me. Claire Frazier leads us in worship by singing a solo entitled O God Beyond All Praising, and our Sanctuary Choir sings an offertory anthem of praise based on Psalm 150: Let Everything That Hath Breath!
